Based in modern facilities in Mere, Wiltshire, we combine tradition with innovation to deliver excellence every day, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join us on that journey.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Maintenance Engineer to support engineering and maintenance activities across our site. This is a key role focused on ensuring the effective running, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production machinery, facilities, and mechanical systems.
This is a highly practical role requiring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to fault finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve operational performance.
You will also play an important role in an exciting re-engineering project, initially focused on our hygiene product range, with future expansion into natural and bespoke products. Working closely with the Head of Product, you will support product development, sampling, and the application of CNC and brush pattern design expertise (full training provided).
Support engineering and maintenance activities across the site to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
Provide hands-on support with mechanical and electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair support
Ensure production machinery, facilities infrastructure, and mechanical systems are effectively maintained to minimise downtime
Program and support industrial equipment, including PLCs and brush-making machinery
Support engineering and re-engineering projects, including new product development and facility improvements
Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and capital investment across engineering and facilities
Maintain accurate engineering procedures, maintenance records, and technical documentation
Build strong relationships with OEM suppliers
Drive continuous improvement through best practices, Lean methodologies, and innovation
Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the site.
