At Hillbrush, we are a family-owned, fourth-generation business renowned for our high-quality cleaning and hygiene products. Operating from modern premises in Mere, Wiltshire, we are seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The Roles
The General Maintenance Technician is a varied role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs across our buildings, equipment, and grounds, as well as supporting engineering projects and ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and operational.
Key Responsibilities
• Support production engineering, planning and maintenance activities to improve operational performance
• Assist with day-to-day maintenance requirements for the plant, equipment, and building infrastructure to minimise downtime
• Carry out facility and property repairs promptly and to a high standard
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of core facility systems and procedures
• Identify issues with equipment, utilities, or building fabric and assist with or undertake appropriate repairs
• Be proactive and willing to develop and learn new skills, including the operation and testing of essential fire prevention and safety systems
• Assist with electrical installation and wiring tasks under the supervision of the Electrical Engineer
• Support a wide range of maintenance and engineering projects as required across the business.

What We Offer
Competitive salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum depending on experience
