HILLBRUSH ANTI-MICROBIAL HYGIENIC TOOLS
Bacteria can spread easily in high risk areas such as hospitals and food manufacturing facilities. Some harmful bacteria known as resilient bacterium, such as Listeria, can survive in hotter or colder conditions. It can survive in temperatures from -1.5ºC up to 45ºC, whereas most bacteria thrive at temperatures between 25ºC and 40ºC.
What is the Answer?
Use Hillbrush Anti-Microbial tools, to reduce the spread of harmful bacteria. Infused with Biomaster technology.
So what is Biomaster?
Biomaster Anti-Microbial Technology is a silver ion based additive, proven to be up to 99.99% effective against bacteria, moulds and fungi. It is included in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our anti-microbial cleaning tools offer protection against threats and dangers you can’t see - 24 hours a day. All plastics in the products, including the brush filaments, contain a silver based Biomaster additive.

Why use Hillbrush Anti-Microbial Products?
The use of chemicals in cleaning is common, but using them alone is not always the most effective method. Manual cleaning with brushes (alongside chemical use) is still the best way of removing as much bacteria as possible because the filaments can reach into areas where chemicals cannot, where biofilms may have formed. Using Hillbrush Anti-Microbial brushes gets to the hard-to-reach areas to clean away the bacteria and significantly reduces the risk of any cross-contamination by preventing bacteria replicating on them.

Is it Hygienic?
Hillbrush Anti-Microbial contains Biomaster, a silver-ion based additive proven to be effective against bacterial growth, moulds and fungi. Biomaster works constantly in-between cleans and reduces bacteria levels by up to 99.99%, providing permanent product protection. Independent migration testing also confirms that Biomaster is durable and will not wear off or leach out of the product including the filament and resin. This is because it’s infused into, not coated onto the product.
Biomaster is registered with the FDA and EPA and uses actives that are being supported through the Biocidal product regulation EU no 528/2012. Biomaster has also been tested to ISO 22196:2011 standards.
Is it Effective?
One way that harmful bacteria are transported is on cleaning equipment, which is why colour-coded segregation is vital for any workplace. Hillbrush AM brushes are available in up to six colours, making it even easier for you to avoid potential cross-contamination.
